I am not good at future planning. I do not plan at all. I do not know what I am doing tomorrow. I do not have a day planner and I do not have a diary. I completely live in the now, not in the past, not in the future.
To me, living in the present means being aware of your conscious choice to focus on the past, present or future - it is not necessarily having to focus on the present.
Solitude is not something you must hope for in the future. Rather, it is a deepening of the present, and unless you look for it in the present you will never find it.
