Fortunately for serious minds, a bias recognized is a bias sterilized.
Innovation is this amazing intersection between someone's imagination and the reality in which they live. The problem is, many companies do not have great imagination, but their view of reality tells them that it's impossible to do what they imagine.
There's probably a little greater case for pessimism than optimism. But I do not rule out optimism.
